By the editors · 2 min readPineapple, rum, plum and peach open with a boozy fruit cocktail, sweet and rich from the first minutes. The pineapple is candied rather than fresh, and the rum gives the start a recognisable spirit warmth.
Ginger, cinnamon, clove, cardamom and nutmeg fill the heart with a saturated warm-spicy chord, the cinnamon and clove dominant. The spices wrap the fruit without erasing it, deepening the cocktail mood.
Tonka, sandalwood, benzoin, tobacco and patchouli close the scent on an ambered woody-tobacco base. Overall this is a sweet boozy-spicy oriental in the rum-fruit-tobacco mould, plush and slow-developing. Best in cold weather and dressier evening or date settings.
