By the editors · 2 min readA windswept opening — peony cooled by bergamot, brief and almost saline before the heart arrives. Nothing here advertises itself; the entry feels deliberately understated.
The middle blooms into a white-floral bouquet held in check rather than allowed to dominate: jasmine, lily, ylang-ylang, rose. The flowers sit on top of the base rather than soar above it, which gives the perfume its particular quiet weight.
The drydown does most of the work — moss, sandalwood, benzoin, amber, vanilla, patchouli braided into a warm ambered chypre. It dries down skin-close, pensive, suited to autumn afternoons or low-lit evenings rather than projection-heavy occasions.
