The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 8 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

The note pyramid
- Galbanum
- Patchouli
By the editors · 2 min readSparse documentation on this release — only galbanum at the top and patchouli in the base survive in the available pyramid.
What that two-note skeleton suggests is a green-into-earthy structure: galbanum's cold, sap-bitter green opening sliding through to patchouli's brown-dirt warmth in the dry-down. Without a heart, character would build from the contrast itself rather than from a developed bouquet.
The gap in the middle makes a confident reading impossible. Treated as an extrait-strength rendition of the parent's chypre side — closer-wearing, deeper, but the specifics here lean on category more than on grounded notes.
