By the editors · 2 min readOpens tart and fizzy — black currant's grape-skin sourness against grapefruit and a freesia lift. The first quarter-hour has the chilled sparkle of a cocktail, citrus held just shy of sweet.
The heart is brief and floral — lily of the valley with a touch of rose — keeping the composition transparent rather than pivoting it into white-floral territory. There's not much weight gained between the opening and the dry-down.
The base brings vetiver and clean musk, an unusually green-leaning anchor for a fruity floral in this line. It dries down dry and slightly bitter rather than sweet, which gives the scent more teeth than its bottle suggests. Best for daytime in warm weather; doesn't carry far.
