By the editors · 2 min readDKNY Be Extra Delicious marks the 2020 evolution of the franchise by trading apple for pear and adding more complexity in both the heart and base. Pear and black currant open alongside freesia and bergamot — a lighter, more citric-fruity entry than the original's assertive apple. The heart is a full-coverage floral: peony, gardenia, lily of the valley, and heliotrope create a lush mid-accord that's sweet without being cloying.
The base is where the 'extra' lives: caramel and ambroxan push warmth and projection into the drydown in a way the classic couldn't manage. It bridges the gap between casual and evening wear naturally, making it one of the more versatile entries in the Be Delicious lineage.
