By the editors · 2 min readThe first impression arrives darker and more mysterious than the original apple-bright DKNY, opening with a spiced blackberry accord that leans jammy rather than fresh. Ginger adds warmth without turning too obviously gourmand, while freesia keeps things from collapsing into dessert territory.

As it settles, jasmine and iris create an unexpectedly elegant middle, the iris bringing a soft, powdery coolness that balances the berry sweetness. The base gradually introduces incense and vetiver, grounding what could have been a simple fruity floral into something more contemplative and shadowed.

This is DKNY's apple reimagined for evening—less breakfast table, more velvet booth. The combination of fruit, flowers, and resinous woods feels designed for someone who wants approachability with a moodier edge, though the sweetness never fully retreats.
