By the editors · 2 min readGinger snaps open with a bright, effervescent heat that crackles against bergamot's citrus peel, while pink pepper adds a rosy sparkle that keeps the top vibrating for twenty minutes. Magnolia steps in first, its creamy lemon-tinted petals softening the spice, then jasmine amplifies the white floral heart and violet contributes a cool, talcum-like dust that blurs the edges. Cedar and sandalwood arrive together, the cedar lending a dry pencil-shave line that props the flowers upright and the sandalwood supplying a clean, milk-pale wood that slowly drinks the remaining musk. The dry-down stays close to the skin, a quiet woody musk lightly sweetened by the ghost of magnolia, projecting only a personal halo for four to five hours. Office-friendly through three seasons, it reads as crisp white shirt over bare skin rather than statement perfume.
