By the editors · 2 min readPear and grapefruit open crisp and translucent — pear's watery sweetness balanced against grapefruit's pithy bitter edge. The opening reads as a clean fruity-aquatic, brighter than juicy, almost dewy.
Magnolia carries the brief middle. The flower lands somewhere between lemony freshness and creamy white-floral, keeping the composition airy rather than indolic. It's a transparent floral heart, more suggestion than statement.
The base anchors with white musk, sandalwood, and amber: a soft, clean drydown where sandalwood reads as smooth pale wood and amber adds a thin warmth under the musk. A summer-cologne floral — light, daytime, designer-shape, with modest projection and shorter longevity. Wears best in warm, humid weather.
