By the editors · 2 min readDebaser opens with pear and bergamot — something bright and slightly tart before iris arrives, powdery and cool, alongside fig. The fig is neither sharp green-fig nor syrupy; it sits somewhere between: woody, milky, a little weird. Tonka softens the base without surrendering the fragrance's odd, slightly angular character, moss adding an earthy finish that grounds the iris without going full chypre. The Pixies reference is apt: this has the same quality of being both accessible and slightly off, pretty in structure but with one strange note running through everything. A minor niche classic.
