By the editors · 2 min readA wide spread of citrus and herbs opens — yuzu, lavender, pink pepper, lime, lemon, thyme, bergamot — creating a bright, busy aromatic top. The lavender and thyme keep the composition from feeling purely fresh, threading a herbal complication through the brightness.
Tonka bean, coconut, oud, neroli, and patchouli form a dense heart. The coconut and tonka pull toward soft-gourmand territory, while oud and patchouli anchor with darker, earthier character. The heart reads layered and slightly confused, juggling multiple impulses.
Leather, oud, ambergris, and amber close the composition. The drydown settles into a smoky, animalic leather-oud with amber sweetness underneath. Overall a busy citrus-into-leather-oud, suited to cooler weather and evening wear.
