By the editors · 2 min readRosemary, lime, and black currant open with a green-citrus sharpness and a hint of dark fruitiness from the currant. The combination is invigorating rather than sweet.
The heart is dense: pineapple, rosemary again, jasmine, ylang-ylang, lily of the valley, iris, violet, and rose — a complex floral-fruity arrangement with aromatic herbal support. Rosemary running through both top and heart gives the composition unusual herbal continuity.
Tonka, sandalwood, oakmoss, benzoin, amber, vanilla, cedar, and patchouli anchor the base with notable depth — this is a full chypre-style base. Note prior scores mossy highest, with aldehydic, lavender, violet, and iris also prominent. A dense, complex aromatic floral chypre suited to cooler months.
