By the editors · 2 min readGinger and bergamot open with dry, citrus-edged spice, nutmeg adding a faintly dusty quality. The opening reads as clean but has a rough texture that resists the expected freshness of a citrus accord.
Leather dominates the heart, cut with vetiver's earthy dryness and frankincense's cool resin. Magnolia provides a quiet floral contrast that softens the leather slightly without displacing it, while labdanum deepens the whole accord with a balsamic undercurrent.
Musk carries through to the skin in the base, wearing close and unhurried. The overall composition is dry, slightly smoky, and anchored by leather — spare in structure but rich in texture, projecting modestly at close range.
