Guéthary
Guéthary is a minimal construction: suede and ambergris over white musk, with little else to work from.
The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 11 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readGuéthary is a minimal construction: suede and ambergris over white musk, with little else to work from. The suede note imparts a soft, slightly dusty texture—neither obviously leather nor fabric—while ambergris contributes a warm, marine-adjacent glow. The two materials complement without merging into something new.
White musk ties them together in something skin-like and deliberately understated. Projection is low; this is designed to be discovered at close range rather than announced. Without floral, spice, or citrus to complicate it, the experience is linear—more a skin modifier than a conventional perfume. The sparse pyramid limits confidence in the accord assessment.
