By the editors · 2 min readPear and pink pepper open with a fizzy bite, blackberry adding a darker fruit shadow underneath. The pink-pepper sparkle keeps the fruit from going jammy — there's a peppery dryness threaded through the otherwise sweet top.
Gardenia and peony build a gauzy floral heart, neither of them carrying the carnal weight that gardenia sometimes can. The drydown leans cozy: tonka, sandalwood, vetiver, and musk knit a soft warm finish that reads as a lighter, glittered sibling of the original Red Door rather than its full-throated successor.
