By the editors · 2 min readCinnamon dominates from the first spray, sharpened by pink pepper and kept from cloying by a thin bergamot brightness. The opening is warm-spicy with enough citrus to stop it feeling heavy, though the cinnamon is insistent — this is not a background note here.
Jasmine, rose, and orange blossom enter together but stay close to the skin, muffled somewhat by the continuing spice. In the base, labdanum, benzoin, and vanilla form a smooth resinous cushion that extends the cinnamon warmth well into dry-down. The overall composition is amber-oriental: spicy, sweet, softly floral, with a balsamic trail. Suited to cool evenings; the warmth reads too heavy in summer.
