By the editors · 2 min readAlmond dominates the opening, releasing a sweet marzipan haze sharpened by pink pepper and tart blackcurrant. The heart folds heliotrope and iris into the nut, creating a powdery, almost play-dough softness that muffles the citrus spark. Orange blossom adds a clean soap facet, while violet keeps the powder airborne rather than dense. In the dry-down, tonka and vanilla double down on the almond’s cherry-pie facet, sandalwood lending a dry wood frame that stops it turning into frosting. Patchouli stays quiet, just enough earth to keep tonka from sugaring completely. Projection stays chest-close for six hours, a skin-hugging gourmand that reads like creamy amaretto over soft woods. Office-safe in cool weather; the iris-powder accord can feel chalky in high heat.
