The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 10 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readPear and black-currant create a syrupy, almost compote-like opening that feels more candied than fresh. Gardenia, jasmine and peony bloom together in a creamy white-floral heart, their lactonic edges amplifying the fruit sugars rather than cleaning them up. Amber and vanilla thicken the base into a velvety custard while patchouli adds a bittersweet cocoa tint that keeps the confection from turning cloying. Over hours the fruits recede, letting the flowers dominate until the amber-vanilla accord settles into a close, skin-hugging glow. Projection stays within arm’s length; best worn on cool fall evenings or dressed-up winter nights when you want dessert air instead of statement sillage.
