By the editors · 2 min readYlang-ylang and jasmine open with a full, slightly heady floral presence, lifted by what reads as a fruity mandarin-plum accord — juicy and a little syrupy at the edges. Peony adds a lighter, greener note to keep the opening from feeling too heavy.
Honey and caramel emerge in the dry-down, lending a thick, golden warmth. Patchouli grounds the sweetness with an earthy undertow, while vetiver contributes a faint dryness that prevents the base from collapsing into pure dessert territory.
The result sits between lush floral and sweet gourmand. It is rich without being overpowering, with a soft ambery character in the base that rounds out the entire composition and suits evening wear well.
