By the editors · 2 min readOpens with jasmine, lily, ylang-ylang and rose all at once, the classic Beautiful bouquet front-loaded into the top rather than waiting for the heart. The first impression is dense and unmistakably floral.
Black currant in the heart adds a tart-green edge that cuts the floral richness, lending a brief sharpness that distinguishes this flanker from the original. The white florals continue to carry the perfume, but the cassis keeps them lifted and modern.
The base of oakmoss, vetiver and violet pulls the perfume into a soft mossy-powdery drydown. Violet adds a quiet candied note, oakmoss and vetiver give the bouquet a green earthy grounding. Projection is strong at opening then moderate, with a long floral-chypre trail.
