By the editors · 2 min readThe original White Linen reads cooler and crisper than its modern flankers. Bulgarian rose, jasmine and lily of the valley sit on top of a chilled aldehydic shimmer — something close to the smell of starched cotton hung in the sun, with violet shading the heart toward a soft, slightly powdery turn.
Underneath, moss and vetiver pull the florals down into a quiet green chypre frame, while a thin amber warms the close. The effect is composed and slightly austere — daytime, broad daylight, the kind of fragrance that makes a room feel tidier than it is.
