By the editors · 2 min readOlibanum opens dry and lemony, its resinous sparkle quickly folded into a supple leather that carries a waxy, suede-like grain. Labdanum adds a caramelised amber thickness, bridging the incense smoke to the darker woods below. Cedar emerges first in the base, clean and pencil-shaving crisp, before patchouli’s cocoa-earth darkness muffles the incense and musk softens the leather edges into a skin-close veil. Over five hours the scent loses its bright resin lift and settles into a quiet, tobacco-coloured leather with a cedar-patched shadow, never loud but steadily present. Moderate sillage sits at arm’s length; wear it in cool autumn air or an unheated cinema.
