The heart leans on labdanum, the resin warm and slightly sweet, lending the iris a balsamic glow without softening its severity. There is a smoky undertone that sharpens through the middle as if a match were struck nearby.
The base is where the perfume bites: birch tar smoulder lacquered with ambergris brings out a tarry, animalic leather edge — burnt rubber, salt skin, distant fire. Overall it reads as a smoke-and-suede composition with a flick of floral powder at the start, atmospheric and unmistakably leather-led, projecting confidently without ever turning sweet.
