By the editors · 2 min readLemon and bergamot open Code EDP 2021 in the expected way — clean, precise, professional. The citrus is restrained rather than vivid, more a fresh preparation for what follows than a statement of its own. Armani Code has never been about showy openings.

Lavender and rosemary form an aromatic heart that grounds the composition firmly in masculine-fougère territory. The lavender is warm rather than medicinal; rosemary provides a dry, herbal focus that keeps the heart from softening too much. Together they're familiar but executed with enough restraint to feel considered.

Vanilla and musk close the composition in the direction you'd expect from a Code flanker — warm, smooth, skin-close, with the vanilla richer than the original EDT. An easy, wearable signature that rewards repeated wear.
