By the editors · 2 min readAmbassador Men builds from a familiar aromatic foundation but adds enough character to stand apart from the crowd. Apple and cardamom in the opening give it brightness and warmth simultaneously, violet adding an unexpected soft edge. The heart turns more deliberately masculine: lavender and black pepper in combination are a classic fougère move, patchouli adding earthiness, and peony contributing a softer floral note that keeps the pepper from dominating. Moss and vetiver in the base provide an earthy, slightly damp quality, amber and vanilla warming the dry-down. Well-paced, with genuine development from opening to base — a Swiss house that understands proportion.
