By the editors · 2 min readExtravagance d'Amarige returns to the original's territory with a lighter, more luminous hand. Michel Girard opens with marigold and tangerine — bright, slightly green-fruity, with the tagete adding a characteristic bittersweet edge. Orange blossom and jasmine in the heart are familiar Givenchy florals, white and warm, carrying the composition into comfortable territory.

Cedar and amber in the base provide a clean, woody finish without the original Amarige's heady tuberose weight. The Mythiques reissue is less confrontational and more wearable than its predecessor — a refinement rather than a reinvention, accessible across seasons and occasions.
