By the editors · 2 min readStar anise and bergamot create an aromatic and slightly sweet-citrus opening that is both fresh and warmly spicy upon first application. A distinct violet heart note soon takes over, imparting a soft, powdery floral character that feels classic and slightly retro. The dry-down introduces a blend of dry vetiver, creamy vanilla, and sweet tonka bean over a cedarwood base, resulting in a warm, slightly sweet, and woody finish. This composition remains relatively linear after the top notes fade, maintaining its powdery floral and woody character throughout the wear. Projection is modest and intimate, making it suitable for casual or office wear in spring and fall. It performs best in mild, dry weather conditions.
