By the editors · 2 min readGinger opens with some heat, quickly joined by raspberry's fruity brightness and orange adding citrus lift. The trio is energetic without being aggressive — ginger providing the only real sharpness.
Tonka bean and guaiac wood arrive mid-development, tonka adding a slightly sweet, coumarin-like quality while guaiac provides dry smokiness. Ambergris and vanilla complete the base with warmth and a slight marine-skin character. The composition moves from a bright, fruity-spiced opening toward a warm, slightly sweet woody dry-down — a clean evolution with each stage distinguishable from the last. The ambergris-vanilla pairing in particular gives the finish a polished quality.
