By the editors · 2 min readA green-leather chypre that wears like a tailored riding coat. The opening is bracing — sage and tarragon spiked with lemon, herbal in a way that almost reads bitter before the florals soften the edge. Jasmine, ylang-ylang and rose give the heart its body without sweetening it.
The drydown is where the perfume settles into character: oakmoss, leather and tobacco braided with patchouli, vetiver and a thread of coconut that keeps the whole composition from going austere. Amber and musk warm the base over time but never let go of the dry, smoky leather.
This is fragrance for someone who likes a coat with a collar turned up. Cool weather, evening, deliberately not pretty.
