By the editors · 2 min readNeroli, orange, and bergamot form a radiant, slightly bitter-sweet opening. The citrus is generous but brief, clearing the way for tuberose and ylang-ylang — a rich, heady floral pairing that forms the true center of gravity.
The base is dense and layered: tonka and vanilla provide a soft, almond-edged sweetness, while sandalwood and cedar give structure. Benzoin and opoponax push things toward a resinous warmth, and patchouli adds an earthy undercurrent that keeps the sweetness in check.
The result is a richly ambery tuberose anchored by balsamic resins. It wears warm and full-bodied, suited to evenings when something substantial and enveloping is appropriate.
