By the editors · 2 min readYuzu and lemon open clean and sharp — citrus with an edge, not the soft warmth of orange. Neroli links the top to what follows, its white-floral bitterness bridging bright citrus and darker territory below. Then oud arrives alongside vetiver, transforming the composition from Mediterranean to Middle Eastern: dense, earthy, resinous. Cedar steadies the dry-down into something austere and dry.
This is a dual-citizenship fragrance — light and citrus-forward at launch, oud-forward in its depths. The Forte concentration ensures that oud has genuine presence here, not a tokenism that burns off in an hour. As an Aqua Allegoria entry it is an outlier: heavier, more complex, better suited to evening or cool weather than its siblings' default of warm-weather ease.
