By the editors · 2 min readThere is no real top to speak of; the composition opens straight into a sappy green-floral chord. Galbanum is sharp and resinous, almost crushed-stem in character, while narcissus immediately layers in with hay-like, slightly animalic warmth.
This green-floral pairing sits at the center for a long time. There is little movement to track, more a sustained mood than a development.
Vetiver eventually rises from beneath, dry and rooty, reinforcing the earth-and-leaf aesthetic without sweetening it. Overall the perfume reads as a deliberately spare, photo-realistic galbanum-narcissus study with vetiver underneath. Projection is moderate and the impression stays consistent: cool, green, and a little melancholy from start to finish.
