By the editors · 2 min readCaleche Eau Délicate takes the architecture of the original Calèche — its chypre-floral bones of oakmoss and vetiver supporting a white floral heart — and renders it in a lighter solution. Ylang-ylang still leads, but with less force; jasmine and rose unfold without crowding. The bergamot and mandarin in the general composition add a citrus brightness not present in the original, and the sandalwood-cedar base provides warmth without the resinous depth of the heavier version. This reads as Calèche translated toward an eau fraîche: recognizable in structure, but restrained in every dimension.
