By the editors · 2 min readLavender and bergamot open clean and slightly bitter, a barbershop nod that's done before it can settle into convention. The heart pivots: styrax goes resinous and almost balsamic, coffee adding a roasted, oily darkness that pulls the lavender out of its expected register.
The base stays in the same key — sandalwood, amber and patchouli, warm without sweetness, the coffee still legible underneath. It reads as masculine in the old sense: assertive without performance, finished without fuss. A coffee-house fragrance for a room with leather chairs.
