By the editors · 2 min readTubereuse 2 Virginale uses the same structural conceit as its Histoires de Parfums siblings: tuberose anchors all three tiers simultaneously. What changes here is the supporting cast. Cherry and tangerine open with an unexpected fruitiness — slightly dark, slightly tart — before tuberose begins its slow unfurl.
The heart is white and tropical: tiare flower and frangipani alongside jasmine, each contributing their own register of indolic richness. Together with the tuberose they build a dense, almost narcotic floral that is the sweetest and most overtly romantic entry in the trilogy.
Patchouli and blond wood ground the base, vanilla warming the structure from below. Virginale in the subtitle is slightly ironic — the composition is lush rather than innocent, built for the full white-floral experience.
