By the editors · 2 min readA spicy aromatic opening — ginger, cardamom, pink pepper, and black pepper firing together over neroli and bergamot. The pepper trio gives a dry crackling lift, citrus and neroli keeping it from feeling too dense.
The heart deepens into incense and cinnamon, with iris adding a powdered cool grey thread that contrasts the warm spice. Black pepper persists, lending a darker shadow. It reads polished and quietly austere.
The base resolves into guaiac wood, myrrh, amber, cedar, and musk — a resinous-woody floor with soft amber sweetness. Smoky guaiac and bitter myrrh keep the close from rounding entirely. Overall character is a refined spiced-incense oriental, projecting steadily in cooler weather.
