By the editors · 2 min readBlack currant and grapefruit open with a tart, zesty fruitiness that is bright and slightly sharp. The fruit notes recede quickly, making way for a powdery heliotrope heart that feels soft and slightly almond-like. Vanilla adds a smooth, sweet creaminess that blends with the heliotrope's powdery texture. Amber provides a warm, resinous base that supports the vanilla without becoming overly sweet. Cedar contributes a dry, subtle woodiness that adds structure to the composition. The scent remains relatively linear after the first hour, settling into a powdery vanilla-amber dry-down. Projection is intimate from the start, staying close to the skin throughout its five-hour wear. Best for cool weather and casual or home occasions.
