By the editors · 2 min readA flanker named for a sea it never quite goes to. Despite the marine label, the opening is mint and a frosted-apple accord — cool, crystalline, faintly candy-coated, more alpine than aquatic.
The heart's clary sage adds a herbal bitterness that pulls the apple sweetness into something more grown-up, while a dusting of cinnamon supplies a low warm prickle. The transition is short.
Cashmere wood and patchouli land in the base, soft and mildly earthy, providing a clean wood finish without much smoke or depth. The overall arc is light and approachable, designed for warm-weather daytime, and reads more like a fresh-aromatic in marine clothing than a true ocean composition.
