The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 14 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readBoss Bottled Oud Aromatic is a deliberate three-note study: orange blossom, myrrh, oud. There is no pretence at a complex pyramid — the structure is the point.
Orange blossom opens sweet and slightly indolic, almost honeyed. Myrrh enters quickly, blurring the floral into a resinous balsamic warmth that reads thicker than its note count would suggest. The transition is the most interesting part of the wear.
Oud closes it dry rather than animalic — Western oud, polished for the Boss audience. The result is a Middle-Eastern-inflected flanker built for cold-weather evening wear: dense, long-lasting on skin, and projecting more in the first hour than the linear structure would predict.
