By the editors · 2 min readA minimalist three-note construction, oriental-floral by classification but with a darker pull than that suggests. Pink pepper opens fizzy and hot, briefly almost effervescent before the heart settles in.
The belladonna note — abstracted as a kind of narcotic, slightly green floral — is the central character, more hush than bouquet, suggesting closed petals rather than open ones. There is no traditional rose-jasmine cushion under it.
Ambergris in the base brings a salty, warm-skin quality that fuses with the floral and pulls the whole thing toward intimate. It projects modestly and lasts well, sitting close in a way that feels deliberate. Cool-weather evenings are its natural setting.
