By the editors · 2 min readBergamot opens alone — a single citrus note establishing a fresh, clean character before quickly yielding to the sole base note. The opening is brief and transparent, more a transitional phase than a developed accord.
Amber forms the entire base, shifting the composition abruptly from citrus freshness to warm resinous depth. The contrast is the fragrance's defining characteristic — a simple binary structure rather than a graduated development.
With only two notes across the pyramid, this is extremely minimalist. The bergamot-to-amber arc is familiar and comfortable, and the result is wearable if unchallenging. Confidence is low given the sparse pyramid, but the combination is inherently coherent.
