By the editors · 2 min readFusion d'Issey Extrême takes the original's elemental premise and dials the warmth up. Cardamom and bergamot open with spiced citrus that reads simultaneously bright and edged. Where the original played at transparency, Extrême introduces coconut and solar notes in the heart — a warm, tropical register that doesn't go beachy so much as sun-warmed and slightly indulgent.
Lavender and mint keep the composition from going fully sweet, while sandalwood and patchouli in the base provide a woody counterweight. The layering is deliberate: warmth and air occupying the same space without fully neutralizing each other. It earns its name as the richer sibling.
