By the editors · 2 min readGardenia and heliotrope launch a creamy white-petal haze that feels almost almond-sweet, the lactonic edge turning the flower waxen rather than lush. Peony arrives quickly, shaving off the cream with a cool, papery floral that keeps the heart airborne and translucent. Vanilla, cedar and patchouli lock in underneath: the vanilla thickens the remaining gardenia residue, cedar splinters provide dry pencil shavings, and patchouli gives a faint cocoa-earth tug that stops the confection from drifting into pure candy. Wear is close, projecting a soft rosy glow for the first hour before folding into a clean skin-linger of sweet woods; office-safe yet seasonally geared to crisp fall and winter days.
