By the editors · 2 min readThis 1994 Eau de Toilette opens with yuzu — bright, citric, and slightly green — before cinnamon and nutmeg arrive in the heart, lending warmth and a dry spiciness that angles away from fruit toward something more contemplative. The spice sits quietly rather than assertively, bridging the citrus opening and a considerably richer base.

Sandalwood and vetiver form the base's woody spine, while amber provides warmth and tobacco adds a dry, slightly smoky quality that deepens the whole composition. The result is a spiced, woody oriental with a clean citrus entry — more restrained than the note list might suggest. The tobacco doesn't read smoky so much as dry, a backdrop that gives the sandalwood and vetiver something to lean against.
