A strong patchouli rises through the heart, joined by lavender from underneath that surprises by reading vintage-aromatic rather than herbal. The composition takes on a polished, slightly austere character — dry, woody, persistent.
Deep oakmoss and Virginia cedar form a chypre-like floor, vetiver streaking through with green earth. Overall character: a dry, mossy aromatic with vintage masculine bones. The moss anchors the whole thing in a damp, shaded register. It reads neither sharp nor sweet but balanced.
