By the editors · 2 min readHoneysuckle & Jasmine opens with hyacinth and galbanum — the green, slightly bitter notes of early spring — alongside cassis and neroli. The opening is crisp and garden-cold, the kind of smell that arrives with the first warm day after frost.
The heart is abundant: honeysuckle and jasmine anchored by rose, lily of the valley, and iris. It's a full white floral bouquet, but the galbanum from the top holds the sweetness in check. Nothing becomes sentimental.
The drydown distills to sandalwood — clean and barely perceptible. The fragrance fades gracefully rather than dramatically. A classic early-era Jo Malone composition: spare materials, direct intention, close-wearing charm.
