By the editors · 2 min readMallow is an unusual centerpiece — it carries a soft, slightly mucilaginous floral character, faintly powdery, more textural than aromatic. The opening reads quietly purple: cool, blurry, never sharp.
Heliotrope adds the powder. Almond-marzipan in suggestion but not in literal sweetness, it gives the mallow a pastel weight, the kind of dust that settles on dried flowers in a sunlit window. The composition stays interior in mood — domestic, a little wistful.
Violet leaf in the base brings a clean, green sharpness that cuts the powder before it cloys. The dry-down is short and intimate, drifting off as a cosmetic-soft skin scent. A daytime spring composition, more atmospheric than declarative.
