By the editors · 2 min readStarlit Mandarin & Honey opens with a burst of yellow mandarin and cedrat, sharp and bright, edged with the dry spice of star anise. The opening has a festive, winter-market quality without tipping into cliché sweetness.
The heart deepens into harvested fields: hay and geranium settle around a honeyed core that reads as beeswax rather than confection. It's pastoral rather than gourmand — honey in its raw, slightly earthy form.
The base is balsamic and round, Peru balsam and tonka building a soft resinous cushion beneath the fading citrus. Best worn in cool weather, close to the skin, where its quiet warmth reads most clearly.
