By the editors · 2 min readNightflight opens with an unexpectedly bright citrus-lavender accord that feels cooler and cleaner than Joop!'s flagship scent. The pineapple hovers at the edges, adding a subtle tropical sweetness without dominating. Within minutes, white florals emerge—jasmine and lily of the valley lend a soapy, almost aldehydic shimmer that keeps the composition from settling into heaviness.

The drydown is where the fragrance finds its identity: tonka bean and almond create a soft, powdery sweetness reminiscent of marzipan, grounded by sandalwood and amber. It's warmer than the opening suggests, but never cloying. The musk adds a clean skin-like quality that keeps everything tethered.

A curious hybrid from the early nineties—part fresh aromatic, part gourmand precursor. It suits those who want something sweet and approachable without the full density of powerhouse orientals from that era.
