By the editors · 2 min readSaffron, bergamot, and rose in the opening establish a rich spiced-floral character — the roses at two registers, saffron metallic and warm, papyrus adding a dry papery quality. Oud arrives in the heart alongside labdanum and castoreum for an animalic-resinous core that is more Arabie than Europe, yet always controlled. Cedar and patchouli add structural dryness. The base is deep and long-lived: sandalwood, amber, and vanilla offering warmth, castoreum and musk keeping the animalic quality present without excess. A genuine oud fragrance built for wearers who appreciate depth over accessibility.
