By the editors · 2 min readThe first breath is pure shock: sawdust soaked in something feral, leather rubbed with sweat and musk, the caged warmth of animals behind canvas. Olivia Giacobetti's *Dzing!* smells exactly like a traveling circus—not the popcorn-and-candy veneer, but the backstage reality of worn costumes, animal breath, and aged wood steeped in decades of performances. It's animalic without being brutish, grounded by dry saffron and a smoky accord that suggests both tanbark and greasepaint.

As it settles, a subtle sweetness emerges, tempering the raw edges without softening them entirely. The leather remains but grows more supple, like a ringmaster's jacket worn until it fits like skin. *Dzing!* demands an appetite for strangeness and a comfort with scents that feel lived-in rather than polished. It's for those who find perfume most interesting when it evokes memory rather than luxury.
